Congratulations to our award winners Wilf Barnes and Grace Phillips.
This week we have been collecting, representing and interpreting data in maths.
We have finished our unit of Literacy work on Midas with an independent writing task in which children have used exciting descriptive language with the structure of a myth. We were amazed as some of the wishes that were granted in the story, many of which made us smile!
Our highlight of the week was our trip to the Truro Museum. Our schedule included being archaeologists uncovering artefacts and matching the clues to the artefacts, learning about the Egyptian mummy they have at the museum and the reenactment of weighing the heart! We also had time to explore the other galleries in the museum and visit the shop. The museum staff commented on the excellent manners and behaviour of the children. Thank you Great Western and Crantock Class.
