The children in Mawgan Porth have had an amazing time learning more about Animals today. They all dressed up as their favourite animal and arrived at school to meet some real animals who had visited us in class.
Mark's Ark came to school to discuss Habitats and how the different animals survive. We saw lizards, spiders, owls and a very large snake. All the children were very sensible and responded to the questions showing a great level of understanding from our topic. I was pleased that each and every one of them participated in touching and holding the creatures.
We also worked hard on designing an animal T-shirt with fabric pens. The children had great ideas and made detailed and colourful designs. They were thrilled to wear their T-shirts to lunch. The class will be taking them home after their topic assembly for the parents next half of term.
