It was e-safety day this week, so today we did some work on cyber-bullying. We watched some video clips to help us understand what to do if anyone is unkind to us online. We then presentations in groups, giving advice to others.
In our topic work this week, we changed our focus; leaping forward to 1066. After finding out about the fight for the throne when Edward the Confessor died and some of the gory details of the Battle of Hastings, we used images from the Bayeux Tapestry for our own artwork.
Our literacy work over the last two weeks has been news reports. This week we have been writing a report on a dinosaur attack, based on a video clip we have watched. We have used this work to help us practise the use of inverted commas and other speech punctuation. The children have worked very hard and produced some quality writing. A big well done to all.
