Week ending 09.02.18

Happy half term! Although it has been a short half term it has been a very hard working one.

Well done to Darcey and Ariele for their DOJO certificates.

This week we have been finishing our Circus topic. We've made our own animal train pictures of the animals in their cages like they would travel on the train in. We finished our week by watching Dumbo, which many children had not seen before and really enjoyed.

In literacy we have been testing our spelling and Grammar skills to help us build up ready for SATs and we have also finished writing our circus animal fact files.

We've finished our growth and survival topic by looking at animal's habitats and then looking at how important exercise is for our body, particularly our hearts. We jumped up and down and did some star jumps then tried to find our pulse but some of us couldn't find them! Perhaps at home you could have a go at finding your pulses.

It was internet safety day on Tuesday so we have been discussing how to stay safe by knowing what information we should never give out online to strangers. We then made posters to help remind people. Look at our photos to see our posters in production.

The first week back after half term we will be doing some practice SATs papers to see what we still need to learn, so please have a relaxing half term and come back refreshed.
